Important and leading keynote speeches will be given in ICHSA 2020. The keynote speakers are masters in the field of soft computing, heuristic computation and optimization. All of them developed a significant method in the field of soft computing. Participants of ICHSA 2020 will have an opportunity to attend presentations of developer of popular metaheuristics (harmony search, bat algorithm, flower pollination algorithm, firefly algorithm, cuckoo search, spider monkey optimization, etc.) and an structural analyses method called TPO/MA.

Dr. Jagdish Chand Bansal is an Associate Professor at  South Asian University New Delhi and Visiting Faculty at Maths and Computer Science,  Liverpool Hope University UK. Dr. Bansal has obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from IIT Roorkee. Before joining SAU New Delhi he has worked as an Assistant Professor at ABV- Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior and BITS Pilani. He is the series editor of the book series Algorithms for Intelligent Systems (AIS) published by Springer. He is the editor in chief of  International Journal of Swarm Intelligence (IJSI) published by Inderscience. He is also the Associate Editor of  IEEE ACESSS published by IEEE. He is the steering committee member and the general chair of the annual conference series  SocProS. He is the general secretary of Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS). His Primary area of interest is Swarm Intelligence and Nature Inspired Optimization Techniques. Recently, he proposed a fission-fusion social structure based optimization algorithm,  Spider Monkey Optimization (SMO), which is being applied to various problems from engineering domain. He has published more than 60 research papers in various international journals/conferences. He has supervised Ph.D. theses from ABV-IIITM Gwalior and SAU New Delhi. He has also received Gold Medal at UG and PG level.

Xin-She Yang obtained his DPhil in Applied Mathematics from the University of Oxford. He then worked at Cambridge University and National Physical Laboratory (UK) as a Senior Research Scientist. Now he is Reader in Modelling and Optimization at Middlesex University, and an elected
Bye-Fellow at Cambridge University. He is the Chair of the IEEE CIS Task Force on Business Intelligence and Knowledge Management. He has given many keynote talks at over 20 international conferences such as ICCS'15 (Iceland), SIBGRAPI'15 (Brazil), OIPE'16 (Italy), ISCBI'16 (Switzerland), BDIOT'17 (UK), ICAAI'2018 (Spain) and ICIST2019 (UK). He has published more than 250 articles in peer-reviewed journals and 20 books. He has been on the prestigious list of Clarivate Analytics/Web of Science Highly Cited Researchers in 2016, 2017 and 2018.


Zong Woo Geem is a Professor in Department of Energy IT at Gachon University, South Korea. He has obtained B.Eng. in Chung-Ang University, Ph.D. in Korea University, and M.Sc. in Johns Hopkins University, and researched at Virginia Tech, University of Maryland - College Park, and Johns Hopkins University. He invented a music-inspired optimization algorithm, Harmony Search, which has been applied to various scientific and engineering problems. His research interest includes phenomenon-mimicking algorithms and their applications to energy, environment and water fields. He has served for various journals as an editor (Associate Editor for Engineering Optimization; Guest Editor for Swarm & Evolutionary Computation, Int. Journal of Bio-Inspired Computation, Journal of Applied Mathematics, Applied Sciences, and Sustainability).
